Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 17, 2026
Rhode House Studios ("we," "us," "our") is a DBA of 1st Choice Marketing LLC. This policy explains what information we collect through rhodehousestudios.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version: we only collect what you give us, what helps us keep this site working and what helps us run our ads. We never sell your information. You can ask us to delete it any time.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
• When you fill out our contact form: your name, email address, phone number, business name and message.
• When you sign up for our newsletter: your email address.
• When you email, call or text us: whatever you choose to share.
Information collected automatically
• Basic visit information, such as the pages you view, how you found our site, your browser and device type, your general location (city or state, not your street address) and the date and time of your visit.
• This is collected through cookies and the visitor statistics built into our website platform. See Section 4 for more on cookies.
2. How we use your information
• To answer your questions and send quotes or proposals
• To do the work you hire us to do
• To send our newsletter, if you signed up for it
• To see which pages people find useful so we can improve the site
• To keep the site secure and working properly
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Not to advertisers, not to anyone.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run our business, and only what they need to do their job:
• Squarespace hosts our website, receives our form submissions and provides our visitor statistics.
• Google Workspace runs our business email.
• Mailchimp sends our newsletter.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) helps us show our ads to people who have visited our site and measure whether those ads work. See Section 4.
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
4. Cookies
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. They help a site remember things, like keeping you on the same session as you click from page to page.
Our site uses three kinds:
• Necessary cookies keep the site working and secure.
• Analytics cookies count visits and show us which pages are popular. They do not tell us who you are.
• Advertising cookies come from the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Facebook. It tells Meta that someone visited our site or signed up for our newsletter, so we can show our ads to the right people and see which ads bring visitors. Meta handles this information under its own privacy policy.
Your choices: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. You can also change how Meta uses your information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings (Settings > Accounts Center > Ad preferences).
5. Emails and our newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we will send you occasional marketing tips and studio news. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also email us and we will take you off the list.
6. Text messages
If you text us, we use your number only to reply to you. We will not add you to any marketing text list.
7. How long we keep it
• Contact form messages and emails: as long as we need them to help you, or as long as you are a client, plus any time the law requires us to keep business records.
• Newsletter sign-ups: until you unsubscribe.
8. How we protect it
We use well-known, secure service providers and limit who on our team can see your information. No website or email system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
9. Your choices
You can ask us to:
• Tell you what information we have about you
• Correct it
• Delete it
• Stop sending you emails
Email info@rhodehousestudios.com and we will respond promptly, usually within 30 days. Some states give residents additional privacy rights. We honor these requests no matter where you live.
10. Children
Our site is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other sites
Our site links to other websites, such as our Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn pages. Their privacy practices are their own, so check their policies when you visit.
12. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and change the effective date at the top.
